Monochromatic glass plate negative taken in on the Black River in Port Huron peering toward its mouth and the St. Clair River. The HIAWATHA, another excursion boat, and a pile driver barge are docked on the left side of the river. A Cadillac Gasoline filling station, a sign advertising "Mooney Taxis," and a third docked excursion boat are on the right side of the canal. An open railroad swing bridge is visible at the mouth of the canal. A buoy and a large passenger steamer are visible in the river beyond.
