Negative, Roll Film

One black and white 35 mm negative that shows an image of the Spirit of Detroit sculpture by Marshall Fredericks. The view looks northward along the east side of Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit and shows a sidewalk plaza in the lower foreground. A landscaped area, the left side of the sculpture, and the left edge of a decorative white marble backdrop wall can be seen in the background. Newspaper racks for the Detroit News and Detroit Times, and various downtown office/commercial buildings, including the Majestic Building, are visible in the background. The entrance to the City-County Building (now the Coleman S. Young Municipal Center) is located just beyond the right edge of the image.
