Photograph, Cabinet

Boudoir-sized cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph of an ice house on Belle Isle.

The photo is mounted on a beige cardstock card. "This building is where they stored ice. We would cut the ice near the little lake near the building. We would cut enough ice to last all summer. There were no refrigerators in the casino any[?] buildings. I cut ice with a hand saw in early 1930," is handwritten on the verso in black pen.
