Boudoir-sized cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph showing a wide shot of several team of men with shovels, wheelbarrows, and a horse-drawn carts digging one of Belle Isle's lakes--Lake Okonoka (1888-9), or Lake Muskoday (1893). The groups of men are arranged linearly, along wooden walkways which extend to a grassy area on the left edge of the frame.
The photo is mounted on a beige cardstock card.
