Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph of the exterior of the Col. Frank J. Hecker House on the north corner of Woodward Avenue and East Ferry Street, as taken from the northwest. An American flag is flown from the house's porch. The photo is mounted on a black card with gold trim. A handwritten note is on the verso, "The Hecker House, Detroit - one of the fine homes on Woodward Ave. when I was a girl. (Put up in the 1890's)."
