Digital photograph taken of banners held by protestors at the Detroit Coalition for a Green New Deal's protest outside of Cobo Center during the North American International Auto Show on January 18, 2019, held in response to General Motors' announcement of plans to close Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly. Across four vertical fabric banners carried on poles are the words, "Detroit Demands A Green New Deal," in green against a yellow background. The "New" banner also includes an image of a red rose growing from the inside of a tired laid on its side. Adjacent protestors carry signs which read, "Justice for Poletown," and "Stop Plant Closings! A Job is a Right."
