Postcard, Picture

Photo postcard bearing a sepia-toned photo taken in Europe during World War I of three German bundled charges, each consisting of a central stick hand grenade fastened with a cord to an outer ring of just the charge heads without the handles of additional grenades. The outer bundles combine seven grenades, while the central one contains ten in a triangular formation. The explosives are pictured on the ground. The card's recto is labeled "1008" in the lower right corner, and the lower left corner features a circular mark which reads, "R-T-O, 310-602, ENG'R'S." The verso is unused.
