The photo shows eight men standing in a room identified on the reverse side of the photo to be the "old composing room now occupied by Shelby Photo Engravers Co." The individual at the far left of the image is mostly out of frame and unidentifiable; the remaining individuals are identified, from left to right, as follows: Art Hathaway, Thos. Halloran, Giles Kavanagh, W.S. Gilmore, Lee A. White, Jay G. Hayden, Emmett Richards.
