Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Images of American farmers, crops, and cattle are featured for the war effort. Signage affixed to the rear of the display from left to right reads, "American farmers processors, and packers are being put on the spot to produce enough food for our soldiers... our civilians... and for lend lease commitments;" "Food is a WAR MUNITION;" "Farmers Need Help! YOU must conserve food so that our fighting men will have plenty - and that we shall have enough on the home front." Also, signage affixed in the central foreground reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number, date, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18870-10x; 9-2-43; Davis B. Hillmer."
