A small metal eagle and an ornamented gourd with bonds placed around and inside are adjacent to signage that reads, "36 Retail outlets ready to help you be patriotic!" Two strands of ribbon lead from the sign to a listing of places where one may purchase bonds, the list includes, Allen Shoe Store, Crowley-Milner Co., Detroit Edison Co., D.J. Healy Shops, Himelhochs, Sam's Cut Rate, Sears Roebuck and Co., and Whaling's. Signage on the far left side of the window reads, "The Aim of the Treasury Department, A $100. Bond Extra, From Every Working Person in America." Also, signage affixed to the bottom central foreground of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "9-2-43; 18870-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
