Print. Black and white photograph of a window display at J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A series of portraits by Faith Ramsay; each of the women depicted are dressed in service uniform for the hospital, or for the military. A large eagle sculpture stands atop a sphere; signage adjacent to the eagle reads, "Aids to Victory, A series of portraits painted in Detroit by Faith Ramsay, New England artist, to emphasize the diversified and important role of American women in the war and pay tribute to their high courage and find patriotism." Signage affixed to the foreground of the display reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the recto, "5-6-43; 18828-2x; Davis B. Hillmer."
