Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Differing types of advertisement are affixed to the rear of the display noting the need to purchase war bonds. Copies of actual bonds are visible in the foreground of the display. Affixed to a circle in the center of the advertisements is an advertisement that reads, "For Freedom's Sake, Buy War Bonds." Also, a banner running through the display reads, "The more you buy, the sooner we win." Affixed to the bottom foreground of the window is a sign that reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The date and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-20-43; 18839-2x."
