A wash bucket and carpet sweeper are visible in the foreground and adjacent to signage which reads, "A Salute to the Women of America, Wives and Mothers on the Home Front, Despite less help more work less time, you take you the slack in the running of your home." Affixed to the foreground of the window display, signage reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-6-43; 18828-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
