Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display at J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A large image of the state of Michigan and surrounding Great Lakes is affixed to the rear of the window display, adjacent to the map are many copies of the book, "Lake Michigan" by Milo M. Quaife, whose image appears in the upper right corner. Signage in the lower foreground reads, "The Great Lakes, Fresh-Water Seas, Without Parallel, Know these Wonderful Lakes, Michigan, Superior, and Huron. $3.50 each." Also, affixed signage at the bottom foreground of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number and date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "19010-2x; 8-5-44."
