Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. 16 Male and female dolls are featured dressed in military fashions from World War I and World War II, signage affixed to the top of the display reads, "Yesterday... 1917-1918; Today...1943-." Also, signage between the two sets of dolls reads, "U.S. Fighters of Two World Wars. * Authentic reproductions of uniforms worn by men and women of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The uniforms are accurate in every detail and accessory. * Reproduced by Helen Virginia Meyer, Noted Costume Historian, Exclusive Exhibit for the War Bond Show." The series of dolls are also flanked by covers of the Saturday Evening Post. Affixed signage in the bottom foreground reads, "Four Freedoms War Bond Show, Auditorium, 12th Floor." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "6x."
