Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Images of Normal Rockwell, his charcoal sketches, and printing plates as well as other examples of his artwork are featured in the display for the "Four Freedoms War Bond Show" exhibition at Hudson's. Covers of the Saturday Evening Post are featured adjacent to the examples of items featured. Signage including a laurel bush and eagle at the base of the display reads, "Keep The Light of Freedom Burning." "US Treasury Department and Saturday Evening Post WAR BOND." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "15x."
Photograph of the "Four Freedoms War Bond Show" on exhibit at Hudson's department store in downtown Detroit. The paintings "The Four Freedoms" were commissioned and prints were made from them to raise money for war bonds. The paintings were exhibited at Hudson's from September 27th to October 9th 1943.
