Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two male mannequins dressed in officer and service uniforms of the Michigan State Troops, and are featured on either side of the display. Also, a large map of the state of Michigan is affixed to the rear wall which is flanked by the seals of the troops. Images in the display depict the actions of the troops including gun cleaning detail. Signage in the foreground reads, "Every Michigan Man Shall Do His Part - Of you cannot serve your country... Then Join The Michigan State Troops." The date, photographic sequence number and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "2-16-43; 18763-2x; Davis B. Hillmer."
