Two female mannequins dressed in United States Coast Guard Spars uniforms, stand neighboring images of women participating in military activities. Also, a mural of a Spar and Uncle Sam is featured on the rear wall of the display. Circular signage is featured in the left foreground and reads, "SPARS Qualifications: Age 20-36, Education - Two years high school or business school, Citizenship - Must be Natural Born or Naturalized, Dependents - No children under 18, Physical - At least 59 inches, 95 pounds, Mental - Must pass aptitude test; Don't be a Spare be a SPAR, Apply 531 Lafayette Building, Shelby and Lafayette; SPARS, Release a Fighting Coastguardsman for Combat, Train at the Palm Beach Biltmore... Wear Clothes Designed by Mainbocher." The date and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-15-44; 18953-6x."
