One black and white photograph showing a cofferdam or similar structure which has been severely bent. The structure consists of a circle of steel sheet piling which is located in a river near a railroad bridge. The sheet piling has been bent and deformed, possibly after being hit by a ship or barge. A group of steel pilings can be seen at the left side of the photo and a shoreline is visible in the background. A barge is moored to the bent structure at the right side of the photo. Green ink stamps on the verso show "Bob Johns Photography, 1824 Fourth Street, Peru, Illinois" and "Feb. 15, 1965."
