One sepia-toned photograph (and one copy) of a Detroit Police motorcycle escort in downtown Windsor, Ontario. The view looks southward on Ouellette Avenue with the corner of Pitt Street visible in the upper center area of the photo. The Detroit Police Department motorcycle unit is riding along the street in a four-column formation. Many spectators can be seen along both sides of the street. A typewritten note on the verso shows "Monday - Oct. 15, 1951, Detroit Police Department Escort Moving Along Oulette [Ouellette] Street, Windsor, Ont., On the Occasion of the Public Reception of Their Royal Highnesses - Princess Elizabeth and Duke of Edinburgh."
