One color photograph of Detroit Fire Department firemen who are trying to extinguish a blaze at a row of buildings located on 12th Street between Taylor and Clairmount Streets. The photo shows two fireman working from an aerial truck with other firemen on the ground. The buildings had been set on fire during the 1967 Detroit Riot. Businesses include the Reliable Rug Company and Jack's Esquire Men's Wear. A red ink stamp on the verso shows "D.F.D. [Detroit Fire Department] Photo, by Insp. Barney Wasowicz."
