One sepia-toned photograph of the damaged bulk carrier steamship, Adam E. Cornelius. The photo shows an interior view of the starboard bow area that had been caved in due to a collision. Bent steel sheets and beams are visible as well as a damaged anchor windlass. A blue ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio Photographers, 9124 Commercial Ave., Chicago, Ill."
