One color photograph of retail stores that are located in a row of 2-story and 4-story brick buildings along the east side of Dexter Avenue between Calvert and Collingwood Streets. The photo was taken during the 1967 Detroit Riot and several police cars can be seen on Dexter Avenue in the foreground. Store names include: Dis-Co TV Center and Economy Hardware. A printed black date stamp on the edge of the photo shows "Jul., 67."
