One color photograph of the Gorman Furniture store, located at 15700 Livernois Avenue at Midland Street, which was badly damaged during the 1967 Detroit Riot. The photo shows the charred remains of a 2-story building with broken display windows and debris on the sidewalk. A damaged car is parked on the street in front of the store. A printed black date stamp on the edge of the photo shows "Jul., 67."
