Print. Black and white photographic print of an aerial view of an office furniture exhibition at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Multi-colored flags are suspended from the ceiling over the exhibition space. Differing companies including Underwood Elliott Fisher Co., Sikes Company Inc., and Postage Meyer Co., featured their products which include adding machines, telephones, typewriters, and cash registers. The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "17471-A." Stamped on the verso is the photographer's name and address, "Davis B. Hillmer, Photographer of Architecture, 454 Colburn Place, West of 5800 Cass, Detroit, -- Michigan."
