Print. Black and white photographic print of the 'Children's Books of Yesteryear' exhibition at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The books were affixed to and enclosed in large kiosks. Signage neighboring the kiosk in the foreground reads, "Children's Books of Yesteryear, from the collection of Malcolm Newton Stone, ABC BOOKS, CHAPBOOKS, GRAMMARS, BIBLES, FABLES, FAIRY TALES. One of the most valuable collections in the United States." The photographic sequence number and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "17885; Davis B. Hillmer."
