One black and white photograph of singers in Grand Circus Park. They were part of the performance of an oratorio, The Assumption," that was conducted by J. Louis Van Dessel for the Detroit 250th Birthday celebration in 1951. The singers can be seen in the foreground behind a temporary wooden fence. Trees and downtown buildings can be seen in the background. Handwritten pencil text on the verso reads "for Louise Vanderhaegen."
