The view shows a large, 2-story public room with a balcony along the perimeter. The room has decorative designs on the columns, beams, and railings. A long bar/counter can be seen at the left side of the photo on the lower floor. Printed text in the lower right corner shows the number, "24332." Handwritten pencil text on the verso reads "24332, Retail Store." A black ink stamp reads "Manning Bros., Commercial Photographers, 504-505 Lincoln Building, Corner State and Park Sts., Detroit, Mich."
