Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a Band Stand displayed in an exhibition at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Instruments, music stands, and folding chairs are featured within the band stand. Signage adjacent to the band stand reads, "Band Stand. There was something special going on at the Band Stand - you could count on that. So every week you polished up the children, took the whole family along to enjoy the fun. Sure it was noisy, and the bugs bit a little, and the babies cried - but the band played on or the dancers whirled even faster, and everybody had a fine time!" Differing exhibitions are visible behind the band stand including the apothecary, barbershop, and home interior.
