Passengers are visible on the ship's promenades. A building with a steeple is on the shore in the background on the left edge of the frame. The photo has beveled edges. "Photo by B.H. Nichols Neg. No. 371," and "1988," are stamped on the verso. "Mackinaw Island 1949," is handwritten on the verso of an enlargement.
