Black and white photo of the Arnold Transit Company excursion boat ALGOMAH II, docked at Mackinac Island, as taken from the water off of its port side. Passengers are visible on board. The boat is docked along a wooden wharf, atop which a building stands on the left edge of the frame. The photo has beveled edges. "MAR 58," is printed in the center of the top border. "Steamer 'Algomah II' of the Arnold Transit Co. @ Mackinac Island, Mich. July 31, 1949" is handwritten and "Photo by B.H. Nichols Neg. No. 368," is stamped on the verso.
