Black and white photo of the Arnold Transit Company excursion boat MACKINAC ISLANDER, docked at St. Ignace, as taken from the water off of its starboard bow. Passengers are visible on board. A woman sits on the wharf, beside a life ring. Bushes, parked automobiles, and a small structure are on the shore. The photo has beveled edges. "MAR 58," is printed in the center of the top border. "'Mackinac Islander' of the Arnold Transit Co., Taken at St. Ignace, Mich. Aug 4, 1949" is handwritten and "Photo by B.H. Nichols Neg. No. 377," is stamped on the verso.
