Print. Black and white photographic print of a Crusade for Freedom window display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Featured in the background of the display is a mural of men who appeared to be oppressed by an iron curtain; large links of chains hang from the ceiling with signage in the shape of an arrow which reads, "Help Lift the Iron Curtain Everywhere! John The Crusade for Freedom." Signage in the bottom left foreground features the Liberty Bell and reads, "Enroll in the Crusade for Freedom; That this World Under God Shall Have A New Birth of Freedom; Help Lift the Iron Curtin Everywhere." A small invitation adjacent to the sign reads, "You are invited to sign the Declaration of Freedom in the Crusade for Freedom, Two booths are ready for your convenience, First Floor_Section F and First Basement_Section F." Signage is also visible on the far left and far right sides of the display discusses The Freedom Bell, which is dedicated as a tribute to those whom have given their life to the fight for freedom; and What the Crusade for Freedom Means to You, offering Americans the opportunity to play a part in the crusade for global freedom, faith and peace.
