Black and white photo of the tree-planting ceremony conducted with several French dignitaries on March 5, 1958 as part of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac's birth, coinciding with the dedication of the Moran House exhibit, at the Detroit Historical Museum. Mayor of de Castelsarrasin Adrien Alary, and, presumably, George S. Doustin, mayor of Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, both hold shovels while standing beside George Stark and an unidentified woman. Harry Brown stands on the far right beside two unidentified men. "City of Detroit, Dept. of Parks and Recreation, Water Board Bldg. 735 Randolph St. Detroit 26, Mich." is stamped on the verso.
