Print. Black and white photographic print of a public service window display for Junior Achievement at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Images of students participating in Junior Achievement are affixed to the rear and sides of the display; a large Junior Achievement emblem is prominently displayed hanging from the ceiling. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Junior Achievement, an organization sponsored by American Business to better inform our Youth of a truly American Legacy… Free Enterprise. Aided by 270 Detroit businesses and industries, 63 Junior Achievement Companies with over 700 participating teen-agers are successfully operating in Detroit. Junior Achievement's aim is to produce employers, employees, and citizens who understand the freedom, incentives and opportunities which private enterprise provides the American worker, owner, manager, and investor."
