Images of young people participating in differing activities which include hiking, swimming and basketball adorn the sign. Text at the left-center of the sign reads, "You Can Give Them New Horizons, Kids always magnify things. Put them in a canoe, and they're De Soto exploring the Mississippi or Washington crossing the Delaware. Take them for a walk in the woods, and they're Tarzan stalking game in the jungle. Even a child with a set of blocks can make a dream building more imposing than the tallest skyscraper. No, it doesn't take much to make a kid happy. But isn't it tragic that some youngsters must be deprived of even the simple joys of childhood? That's why we should be eternally grateful that we have a Community Chest in our town. Its Red Feather services bring youngster new adventures through summer camps and week-end hikes. They open new worlds for those who want to learn hobbies and handicraft. They bring the thrill of sports by providing places to swim or play games. Surely, you wouldn't take that away from the kids in our town. So make you contribution a generous one.
