A twin bed, small night table, and dressed with bookcase are featured around the perimeter of the room; a card table and folding chairs is displayed in the center of the room. Signage affixed to the rear wall reads, "Samson, Paint, Paste, Cutout Space, Handy for Small Fry." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the recto, "23440-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company, Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Hand-written on the verso is the date, "1948."
