Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The master bedroom furniture featured includes a four-poster bed, dressing table with mirror and lamps, small night tables featured on either side of the bed, dresser, and a rocking chair. Four framed etchings are featured affixed to the wall behind the bed. Signage visible on the right side of the window reads, "You are Cordially Invited to Visit American History House, Furnished in Fine Maple and Cherry, Ninth Floor Woodward." The small adjacent sign discusses the components of, "The Master Bedroom." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23440-6x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "1948."
