Johnston, who appear to be enjoying punch and cookies aboard the J.T. Wing. Typed on the verso, "Mrs. Thomas Bosquett; Miss Carpenter (Queen of Belle Isle - 1950); Mrs. Joseph E. Johnston, Aboard the 'J.T. Wing.'" Also, the photographer's name is stamped on the verso and the date is handwritten, "Photograph by R.H. Davison, 1954."
