Print. Black and white photographic print of a mattress and boudoir furniture display on the 9th Floor of The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A full-size mattress is featured on the corner of the display; a large satin ribbon is tied around the upper right corner. Playtex Signature Pillows advertising, "The Greatest Advance in Sleeping Comfort in 1,000 Years," is featured in front of and on opposing sides of the mattress. Differing pieces of boudoir furniture are also displayed including end tables, lamps, headboards, and bed linens are also visible in the display. Signage for the 12th Floor escalator is affixed to the far right wall, and larger illuminated signage is affixed to the ceiling. The company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
