Varying dignitaries are seated adjacent to the governor including Mrs. Fred T. Murphy; Mayor Eugene Van Antwerp; Dr. Henry; Mr. Kronk; Mayor Albert Cobo; Mr. William Kapp; Dr. Whittaker; and Mrs. Alfred G. Wilson. "Groundbreaking, July 24, 1949," is handwritten on the verso.
