The room setting visible on the left side of the image features a dining room set including sideboard and cabinetry; the central room setting features an office space with desk, shelving and seating; lastly, the third room setting features a living room space with couch, end tables, lamps, and coffee table. A bed is featured in the central foreground. Signage affixed to pilasters separating the displays read, "Decorated by Hudson's and House & Garden located at 6514 Castle Drive, Bloomfield Twp. 1/4 mi. west of Telegraph Road off W. Maple; Selected for House & Garden's 1955 House of Ideas." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "7-28-55; 27084-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
