Color photograph taken in the aftermath of the 1967 riots of the boarded-up storefront of Blue Ribbon Cleaners at 8900 Grand River Avenue, as taken from across Martindale Avenue to the west. "Soul Brother," "Black Power!," "Harry," and "Soul," have been painted on the boards. A blue and white sign beside the boarded up windows reads, "Send It With Confidence. The Very Finest in Dry Cleaning. Since 1922." A tree stands in the grass-covered lot in the foreground. "Jul 67," is printed in the right border of the photo.
