Color photograph taken in the aftermath of the 1967 riots of three uniformed National Guardsmen standing on the sidewalk beside their parked truck near a phone booth on the southwest side of Grand River Avenue east of Greenfield Road, as taken through the driver's side window of the photographers car. A Federal Department Store stands to the east of the troops, and a Michigan Bell Telephone Company building is to their west. "Jul 67," is printed in the right border of the photo.
