Color photograph taken in the aftermath of the 1967 riots of several uniformed National Guardsmen standing on the sidewalk beside their parked truck near a phone booth on the southwest side of Grand River Avenue east of Greenfield Road. The side wall of a Federal Department Store is visible on the right side of the frame, and a portion of a Michigan Bell Telephone Company building is on the right. "Jul 67," is printed in the right border of the photo.
