Color photograph taken in the aftermath of the 1967 riots of the ruins of a building, destroyed by fire. A pile of bricks lay at the foot of the remains of the structure. The portion facing the camera is completely open, exposing an interior wall to which portions of plaster still cling. The building's roof has collapsed. A phone booth with shattered windows and a scorched frame, stands outside the building on the right edge of the frame. "Jul 67," is printed in the right border of the photo.
