Retouched black and white photographic print of James L. Mahon of the Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit holding a baby with one arm, and a stack of newspapers and a dollar bill in the other. He wears a hat, as well as a newspaper carrier's bag around his shoulder, with a name badge, and a pin with the year, 1939 printed on it on the strap. The original image has been trimmed with new edges following those of the two subjects.
