The view shows three workmen on the deck of the barge which is underway on the Rouge River near the Detroit Marine Terminal on the west side of Zug Island. A railroad bridge and aerial pipeline crossings can be seen in the center background area of the photo. A freighter is docked at the wharf in the right background.
