Photograph. Black and white photo of Woodward Avenue at Grand Boulevard. The view looks northward and shows a curbed roadway with sidewalks, rows of trees, and houses along both sides of the road. A horse-drawn delivery wagon is stopped on the side of the road near the lower right corner of the photo and a man is standing on the rear wheel of the wagon. A handwritten note on the verso shows "Woodward Ave. at Grand Blvd., c.1895," however the lack of tracks for the Highland Park Railway in the center of Woodward indicates that the photo was taken prior to September 18, 1886.
