Print. Black and white photographic print of differing styles of rugs available in the flooring department at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Rugs in various patterns, colors, style and size are displayed in small stacks on the wood floor; larger rugs are mounted and hung in the rear or folded up. Portions of the rugs are featured in illuminated displays set within the pilasters. Signage affixed to the rug in the right rear of the department reads, "Which Is Which, One is an Oriental, and One Is A Karastan." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22386-7x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
